Injectables like Botox are the most requested and effective treatments at Beautique Medical Anti-Aging. Injectables require BOTH a complete and through understanding of anatomy, the location and depth of skin, muscles, and nerves AND artistry to understand the shadows and symmetry that create beauty. Any qualified person may become an injector, but it is only the elite who can sees the face as a canvas and the needle as the paint brush. When hiring a contractor to paint your house, you can assume that because he is qualified, that he will do a good job. However, would you hire the same contractor to paint a mural in your living room? This is why we see (and fix) so many botched and ill-placed Botox and fillers. Botox Cosmetic

Botox® is the trade name for botulinum purified neurotoxin complex. Botulinum Toxin (or Botox® Cosmetic) is FDA-approved for the treatment of disorders of the muscles of the eye, certain types of headaches and other medical conditions. It is also approved for cosmetic treatment of frown lines between and above the eyebrows. When Botox® Cosmetic for wrinkles is performed, tiny amounts of the drug are injected into the facial muscles thus weakening them. This reduces the associated lines and wrinkles. Botox® injections for wrinkles works best for “dynamic” lines and wrinkles, which are the result of constant pulling on the skin and underlying facial muscles. Botox Cosmetic can also be used to relax the platysmal bands in the neck and to treat underarms (axillary hyperhidrosis). After Botox® is injected into the targeted muscles, the weakening effect gradually begins over 5-7 days and is not complete for 2 weeks. Therefore, we advise our Botox® patients to wait for at least two weeks before expecting optimal results. During this period you may notice asymmetry or unevenness within the treated areas. This asymmetry will usually correct itself as the Botox® takes effect. Botox® Cosmetic is temporary, meaning it will have to be repeated on a regular basis to remain effective. Nonetheless, you may stop and restart treatments at any time without negative effects. Juvederm Collection of Fillers

The Juvederm family of fillers utilizes hyaluronic acid (HA) to help add volume, retain moisture and softness to the skin. Each Juvederm product is made from a modified form of HA, and each is best suited to treat certain areas and conditions. This Juvederm collection can lift checks, smooth parentheses lines, plump the lips, erase the bags under the eyes, sculpt the jaw line, and even smooth out the nose profile (non-surgical rhinoplasty). Each filler, like a paint brush, has certain attributes that can help achieve the desired result. The thicker the gel, the more ideal for deep injections to get volume. The thinner the gel, the more spreadable for delicate fine areas. The most important aspect to Juvederm is finding the right injector who can utilize their skill and artistry to create a natural, youthful result. Fillers are priced per vial. Only a consultation can estimate the number and types of Juvederm filler vials required to achieve the desired result of the patient.

Likely the most used, this FDA-approved filler can instantly smooth moderate to severe wrinkles around your nose and mouth and treat smile lines, marionette lines, vertical lip lines, and of course, lips.

Juvederm Voluma XC

Juvederm Voluma XC, made from a modified form of hyaluronic acid, is the first and only FDA-approved non-surgical option to instantly correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area. It is designed to add volume deep beneath the skin’s surface. It is best used when volume is needed and would correspond to the widest paintbrush in the artist’s kit.

Full/Partial Removal of Ill-Placed Filler by Other Providers

We dissolve and remove poorly placed Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, or the over-filling of ill-placed filler. Often, clients who have had work done with other providers are not happy with the results. We can correct the poor result by dissolving the ill-placed filler that has been poorly done. Our patients then return in 1 week for appropriate placement of new filler that has a more aesthetically pleasing result.

Rejuvenation of the dorsal hand with Juvederm

Aging hands: A youthful hand comprises smooth, hydrated, and firm skin without the presence of visible veins, tendons, or textural changes. Hand aging is a three-dimensional process that involves the bones, soft tissues, and skin. Aging of the dorsal hand may be characterized by large intermetacarpal spaces, skin atrophy, dryness, uneven skin tone, and blemishes. PDO Thread Lift

The PDO (Polydioxanone) thread lift is a non-invasive treatment which lifts and tightens sagging skin tissue, using threads made of PDO. The threads are introduced into the deeper layers of the skin. Once introduced, the threads have 3 amazing effects on the skin:

The LaTorre Lift^(TM) – consultation/varies

The LaTorre Lift^(TM) is a multi-modality non-surgical procedure that incorporates several modalities to create a more youthful face, neck, and/or body. PDO thread lifts are used to do the heavy lifting and increase the long-term collagen build-up in the skin. Fillers are used to sculpt the face, to fill in deep lines, plump where needed, and Botox Cosmetic (or other similar injectable) is used to smooth out fine lines and creases. The end result is an immediately more youthful appearance, and even improvements over time do to collagen generation from the threads. Kybella “Fat Dissolver”

Kybella is administered as a series of injections permanently destroying fat cells and producing gradual results. This is FDA approved for the submental area (fatty area under the chin, or “double chin”). The number of treatments will be based on your specific facial contour and your specific treatment goals. Because Kybella permanently destroys fat cells, off-label usage has been shown to be effective in other, small, targeted fatty trouble areas. Because there is no surgery, only a series of injections, there is very little down-time.

Non-surgical Lipo

Kybella® is a prescription medicine to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat, “double chin”). Best utilized in a series of treatments (3-6) 4-6 weeks apart or until desired results are achieved.

Non-surgical Lipo Mons Pubis (Women/Men)

Are you self-conscious about the fat in your public area? For women, mons pubis fat can give the appearance of a ‘package’ down there. For men, the length of the penis is hidden by this fat. Sculptra Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen, the underlying cause of facial aging, similar to facial fillers. In certain situations, the nurses at Beautique Medical may recommend Sculptra Aesthetic to meet your anti-aging goals. One treatment gaining popularity due to stars such as the Kardashians, is the non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lift using Sculptra Aesthetic. Consultations will determine the number of vials of Sculptra Aesthetic required to gain the desired outcome. Usually, three treatments, approximately 4 weeks apart, is required. Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to eliminate unsightly spider veins. It involves an injection of a solution (generally a salt solution) directly into the spider vein. The solution irritates the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to collapse and stick together and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. In most cases of sclerotherapy, the salt solution is injected through a very fine needle directly into the vein.

B-12 Injections
